Wide Open

Heartbreak is fear not easily broken. Sometimes people are lost to it for years. Some people's foundation in life is heartbreak. It's such a powerful thing, to break off a relationship, both for the initiator and the unwilling. It rips you from the inside out, makes you feel sick, can completely change your path in life. It cuts off your breathing. It challenges everything you ever said you were. And therin lies the awesome power of it.

Heartbreak is what I believe to be one of the many great tests of a person. Depending on how they come out of the relationship, you have an idea of where the core of that person lies.

Heartbreak is just another degree of change, always remember that. Life will always happen, the only thing you have control of is how much and what kind of change you can create.

Heartbreak is hurt, is pain, and sometimes is too much for one person. But like everything else, there is always hope. There is always a future. And when you feel alone, there will always be someone to turn to. For those who believe, God will be there to pick you up. If you are strong enough, allow Him to pick you up and hold you. But if you're not and you can't do anything right for a time, don't turn your back on him. He will be there when you call out to Him, this is guaranteed.

Heartbreak is sometimes nessicary. And when it happens, trust me it's not the end of the world, or your life. Dig deep and find a place to hide, and find a way to deal with the pain and memories. And when you find your feet again, never forget the things you learned from the past.


And suprisingly, heartbreak has renewed my hope in humanity.
